Which camera is best for me?

What is the difference between the 4G and WiFI/PoE cameras?
The key difference between the 4G and WiFi versions of the RuralGuard camera is how they connect to the internet:
- 4G Version: This version connects via a 4G SIM card, making it ideal for remote areas without a reliable WiFi connection. It can be installed anywhere there is a 4G signal, perfect for rural locations, farms, or outbuildings.
- WiFi/PoE Version: This version connects to your local WiFi network or via Power over Ethernet (PoE). The WiFi option is great for properties with a strong, stable WiFi connection. PoE allows the camera to be powered and connected to the internet using a single Ethernet cable, providing a more reliable and robust connection, particularly for longer-term installations.
Both versions offer the same features, including high-definition video, human auto-tracking, and two-way audio, but their connectivity options are tailored to suit different environments.
Do cameras come with a warranty?

Which accessories do I need with the camera?
We'd always recommend a 12V extension cable - this will give you more length to play with when you install the camera - these can be purchased at 5 metres or 10 metres, by clicking here
